Top court asks centre to hold implementation of farm laws till further decision

The Supreme Court of India has asked Attorney General K K Venugopal that can central government hold the implementation of the new farm laws till the bench reaches its decision.  This could be done so the talks between farmers and the govt. can resume which has reached a stalemate situation.

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta objected to this and said,” that’s not possible” to give such an assurance while Attorney General K. K. Venugopal told the court that he could certainly discuss this with the government.
