Top Indian Archer, Jayanta Talukdar in ICU after getting positive for COVID-19

Jayanta Talukdar, the 2006 Doha and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games bronze medalist, has been admitted to the ICU ward at a hospital in Guwahati. Reports say he is facing a low oxygen level. Jayanta Talukdar was also selected for the trails for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo but was not selected due to tough competition.

He has also represented the country in the 2012 London Olympics but couldn’t perform well there, he has won a gold medal in the 2006 World Cup in Mexico and was also a Silver Medalist in the 2005 World Championships that took place in Spain.

He has also received the prestigious Arjuna Award for his dedication and service to his country at the global level of sports. His fans are hoping for his fast and successful recovery from Covid-19 and we will soon see him back in action.
