Anupam Kher is a well-known Hindi film actor in India. He has appeared in a number of popular Bollywood films, as well as Punjabi, British, Hollywood, and Chinese films. In 1982, Kher made his screen debut in the Hindi film Aagman. Then came Saaransh in 1984, in which he played an elderly, retired man who had lost his son, and he hasn’t looked back since. He is best known for his comedic appearances, but he has also portrayed antagonists in films that have received critical praise, such as Karma (1986), in which he played terrorist Dr. Dang. Say Na Something To Anupam Uncle and Sawaal Dus Crore Ka were two of his TV shows that he hosted.

He came from a low-income, lower-middle-class family. His father worked for the Forest Service as a clerk. Anupam Kher is among the most sought-after actors in the country, having appeared in over 500 films over the course of his three-and-a-half-decade career. His path, on the other hand, has not been smooth. Anupam found his love for acting when he was a teenager. When he was in ninth grade, he performed in a play and realised he had found his calling. His lines were offered to someone else because he couldn’t speak them properly. The actor relocated to the ‘dream city.’ He had no job, no income, and no one to support him at one point. He had to sleep on platforms and survive on beaches. Here is the list of some of his top motivational quotes :
- I think if you laugh at your troubles and tell the whole world what went wrong, you can’t be frightened by anything.
- Every individual suffers from the fear of failure, but you can change your destiny only when you overcome it.
- An actor is only a part of the film, not the whole, and very often, he is moulded by the director. That is why a good director can make so much difference to a film.
- You are never too old for applause. What’s satisfying is that I’m being appreciated for what I was trained for.
- Success is boring… failure is exciting and more entertaining.
- I was able to overcome my failures because I was always confident of my abilities and was sure I could achieve what I had set out for.
- It’s your own fear of failure that stops you from doing things.
