American Football and music fans are going crazy over speculations that Travis Kelce is dating Taylor Swift. In an NFL+ interview, the player has now reacted to inquiries regarding the singer. Furthermore, Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce has talked about the alleged relationship.
Travis first sparked the rumors when he shared a story on his New Heights podcast while conversing with Jason Kelce. He said that he attended a Taylor Swift Eras Tour event at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City with the hopes of meeting the 1989 singer. Travis also wished to give her his phone number on a bracelet.
Travis told the Philadelphia Eagles center, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. So I was a little butt-hurt. I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her.”
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets. I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he added.
“She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.” Travis was obviously unable to fulfill his wish to see her.
Here’s what Kansas City Chiefs player Travis replied when host Andrew Siciliano questioned him on NFL+ regarding his relationship with Taylor Swift and whether he ever tried to give the singer his number on a friendship bracelet.
“I said what I said. And I meant what I said when I said it. And you know what, it is what it is. I’m not gonna talk about my personal life…I know what you writers wanna hear, and you wanna hear more about that and I’m not gonna give you anything.”
Andrew teased Travis even further by asking, “Has she reached out?” To which Kelce replied, “And that’s gonna wrap it up here.”
