Travis Kelce has made it clear—fall weddings are a no-go for him. During the January 8 episode of New Heights, his podcast with brother Jason Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star emphasized that the NFL season makes fall weddings nearly impossible.
“I’ve seen weddings in f**king February. I’ve seen weddings everywhere but the fall,” he said, adding that all the weddings he’s attended have been in the summer. With September through November packed with football, he joked that scheduling a wedding would mean hoping for a weekend when his team isn’t playing a tough opponent.
While Travis is steering clear of fall weddings, speculation about his engagement to Taylor Swift is heating up. The couple, who have been dating for nearly two years, are rumored to be planning a future together, with reports suggesting they may move in together in Nashville.
Meanwhile, Jason Kelce had a different take, saying that some things—like weddings—are more important than football. “You just do the wedding whenever she wants, because that’s your job now,” he quipped.
