The ‘Off The Record Tour’, which will serve as the opening act for Trevor Noah’s Asia tour, is scheduled to arrive in India.
Noah said this about his India Tour: “After a lifetime of loving India’s culture, I’m so excited to finally have the privilege of bringing my current stand-up comedy tour to one of the most exciting countries in the world!”
On September 22–24, Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Delhi–NCR, Manpho Convention Centre in Bengaluru, and then September 27–28, NSCI Dome in Mumbai, Noah will perform live over the course of seven shows for the India leg of the “Off The Record” Tour. After performing to packed houses in the US and Europe between 2022 and 2023, Trevor’s “Off The Record” Tour will head to Asia, making stops in Dubai and India along the way.
The show will showcase the Emmy Award-winning comedian in his element, performing a satirical set that will be an incredible laughter riot, and is produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live. The Daily Show was hosted by Noah. He has received numerous honours, including a Primetime Emmy Award after receiving 11 nods. The Hollywood Reporter listed him as one of “The 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media” in both 2017 and 2018.
He was listed among the 100 most important persons in the world by Time magazine in 2018. He received the Erasmus Prize in 2023. Noah started his career in South Africa in 2002 after being born in Johannesburg.
In 2008, he finished second in South Africa’s version of Strictly Come Dancing’s fourth season. He served as the host of the Tonight with Trevor Noah late-night talk show from 2010 to 2011. He presided over the 2022 White House Correspondents Dinner, as well as the 63rd, 64th, and 65th Grammy Awards.
