A new True Detective: Night Country teaser trailer for the next HBO series has revealed the premiere date.

According to the official synopsis, “the eight men who run the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace when the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska.” “To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro will have to confront the darkness they carry within themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.”

Jodie Foster and Kali Reis play the detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro, respectively, in the True Detective: Night Country movie. Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Isabella Star Lablanc, Aka Niviâna, Anna Lambe, Joel D. Montgrand, Christopher Eccleston, and John Hawkes are additional cast members. The show’s creator, writer, and director is Issa Lopez.

Nic Pizzolatto, the show’s creator, debuted True Detective on HBO in 2014. Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson were the main actors in the first season. Season 2’s leaders were Colin Farrell and Rachel McAdams, while Season 3’s leaders were Mahershala Ali and Carmen Ejogo.
