Tu Yaa Main, starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, saw another dip on Wednesday. The survival thriller movie earned Rs. 30-35 lakh on Day 6, according to estimates. Tu Yaa Main’s running total has touched Rs. 4.10 crore nett in 6 days. It is expected to end its first week at Rs. 4.35 crore to Rs. 4.50 crore nett.
Because the film hasn’t left much gasoline, it won’t be able to make it through the second week, when two new movies, Do Deewane Seher Mein and Assi, arrive. Tu Yaa Main is expected to gross roughly Rs. 5 crore (nett) in India. Though the film received marginally better word-of-mouth than its competing release, O’Romeo, this wasn’t enough. Things could have turned out better if the audience had supported the film.
Tu Yaa Main also suffered from a lack of audience awareness and the remake tag. It would be intriguing to see if the film can captivate the public throughout its digital distribution. Tu Yaa Main is a survival story about a young modern couple who face a deadly beast. The creature/horror survival thriller is directed by Bejoy Nambiar, who has previously directed Wazir (2016), Taish (2020), and Dange (2024) in Hindi.
