One of India’s longest running comedy TV shows, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai!, is set to make its grand leap to the silver screen. The show’s beloved characters will return in a feature film, much to the delight of fans.
Confirming the news, actor Rohitashv Gour, who plays Manmohan Tiwari, expressed his excitement, saying, “Ji, wakayi yeh sach hai! As actors, we all dream of seeing ourselves on the big screen, and it’s finally happening. It’s a dream come true.”
Vidisha Srivastava, who portrays Anita Mishra, credited the fans for this major step. “It’s because of their love that we are getting this opportunity. The essence of the show will remain, and we promise bahut saara dhamaal for the audience.”
The film will feature the original star cast, including Rohitashv Gour, Vidisha Srivastava, Aasif Sheikh (Vibhuti Narayan Mishra), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Tiwari), along with other popular characters. Directed by Shashank Bali, the film is scheduled for release this year.
A source from the production unit revealed that filming will begin on March 15 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, following a start-to-finish schedule. Since its launch in 2015, Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! has gained a massive fanbase with its humor and quirky characters. With its transition to the big screen, audiences can expect an even bigger dose of laughter and entertainment.
