Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey sets up the first tweet ever as non-fungible token(NFT). His tweet “just setting up my twttr” listed his famous post as a unique digital signature on a website for selling tweets.
The tweet posted by Dorsey’s account on March 22, 2006 received offers worth $88,888.88 (Rs. 64.04 lakh) within minutes of the as Dorsey posted a link to the listing on ‘Valuables by Cent’ – a tweets marketplace.
The tweet was originally listed in December but became popular after dorset posted a tweet on Friday, March 6.
The 15 year old tweet received the highest offer for $100,000 (Rs. 73.1 lakh) at as of 6:55am IST, March 6.
