Two Chinese nationals, who entered the country illegally through India-Nepal border were apprehended at Raxaul in East Champaran district of Bihar. They were later arrested by local police.
Interestingly, this is the same route via which Pakistani Seema Haider had entered India along with her four children to reach her desired man, Sachin Meena, in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
According to East Champaran superintendent of police Kantesh Kumar Mishra, Fu Cong and Zhao Jing, who are identified as residents of Jiangxi, a province in East China, were arrested near the Indian customs at 8.45 pm on Saturday, while they were trying to cross the border without valid documents.
In presence of the two Chinese nationals, Mishra interacted with the media and said that their motive to enter the country cannot be established yet, as they are yet being interrogated.
An immigration revealed that earlier on July 2, the duo were caught crossing the border illegal. Back then, they were left with a warning and were advised not to enter India without visa.
The police officials shared that they claimed to have left their passports in a hotel in Birgunj, Nepal.
