Two people arrested for smuggling 12kg of Gold worth ₹6.25 into Mumbai

Two employees of a Jewellery firm in Mumbai are caught for having smuggled 12kg of Gold worth ₹6.25 crore inside Mumbai from Kolkata. They did so by carrying 15 pieces of cut Gold hidden inside customised jackets under the shirt. The gold is supposed to have been smuggled in from the Northeast, possibly Myanmar or Bangladesh since it seems to be of the foreign origin. Both of them have been arrested by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence on Sunday
