Udita Goswami turns DJ at Saiyaara success party; plays her iconic Woh Lamhe track from Zeher

At the star-studded success bash of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Saiyaara, Mohit Suri’s wife and actor Udita Goswami stepped behind the console to spin Woh Lamhe, the memorable song from her 2005 film Zeher. Deanne Panday penned a heartfelt note praising the film’s team and expressing pride in her son’s bond with director Mohit Suri.

The success of Mohit Suri’s romantic drama Saiyaara was celebrated in style as friends, family and industry colleagues gathered to congratulate debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. Among the evening’s highlights was an unexpected musical moment when actor and former model Udita Goswami, wife of the film’s director Mohit Suri, stepped into the role of DJ. She treated guests to Woh Lamhe, the beloved track from her 2005 film Zeher, which also marked Mohit’s debut as a filmmaker.

In videos shared by Deanne Panday from inside the party, Mohit could be seen addressing the gathering with Ahaan and Aneet by his side. Guests joined in as the team cut a celebratory cake, with smiles and cheers marking the occasion.
Deanne, who is Ahaan’s mother, accompanied the post with a deeply personal message reflecting on the connection between her son and the director. “My sweet son can’t take his eyes off his director, I can see the love and attachment he has for him. So much gratitude for having you in our lives Mohit, you are the best, you are magical,” she wrote.

Her note extended thanks to casting director Shanoo Sharma, producer Akshaye Widhani and members of the film’s music team. She also showered praise on Udita, calling her “cool, real and shining,” and promised to dance again to the music she plays. Aneet was described as “brilliant an actor,” with Deanne urging her to stay young and innocent.

The proud mother ended her message with a loving tribute to Ahaan, calling him her “heart, soul, life and everything” and urging him to “keep shining” and “keep the faith.”
