The game in Madrid was a wet affair as it was drizzling all evening but this couldn’t stop the players to showcase the high quality of football.

Chelsea scored an early away goal with the help of Rudiger who provided an amazing through ball to Christian Pulisic who finished the ball with composure to give the visitors the lead.

But the Madrid side made a quick comeback with Karim Benzema who scored a blasting goal of his right foot from a ball by Casemiro inside the 6-yard box.

The game was a competitive affair with both the side playing hard and strong challenges were flying everywhere, Pulisic, Kross, V. Junior, Marcelo and Odriozola receiving yellow card from the referee.

Eden Hazard, the ex Chelsea superstar was also brought in by the Madrid side but he couldn’t leave his mark on the game in his short duration on the field.

The next game will be played in Stamford Bridge in the upcoming week with Chelsea being in the advantage with an away goal.
