UK approves Pfizer’s vaccine, immunization from next week

The U.K. became the first country to approve a Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE’s shot ahead of decisions from United States and Europian Union. The emergency authorization will help in fighting battle against the deadly virus and clear the way for immunization. The U.K. regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency, said that the vaccine “met its strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.”
