Wanted Indian diamantaire Nirav Modi’s case ruling for extradition to India is to rule today by a United Kingdom court. He will appear in Westminster Magistrates’ Court via video conference from London’s Wandsworth Prison.

The court’s ruling will then be sent to UK Home Secretary Priti Patel for a sign-off. Even after the court ruling Nirav Modi and the prosecution will have the option of challenging the ruling in a UK High Court in case of an adverse decision.

He has been in the London prison for about 2 years now. He is facing charges of fraud and money laundering of approximately $1.5 billion with the Punjab National Bank(PNB) in India.

India has been trying to extradite him from London for the past two years where he is fighting to block the request.
