“There will definitely be a retaliation against Russian terrorists for Odesa. They will feel this retaliation,” stated Zelensky condemning the attack against “peaceful cities… residential buildings, [and] a cathedral.”
Russia has been launching series of attacks against the country’s Odesa port after suspending the Black Sea Grain Deal.
The deal was a wartime deal, which assured that Russia would not attack any of the food ships leaving from Ukraine, as it exports grains to countries in Western Africa. However, the deal was suspended by Moscow as they have put forward some demands to be fulfilled first.
Earlier, during one of the attacks, Russia had damaged a storge unit at Odesa port.
In another news, USA’s Antony Blinken, Secretary of state, has claimed that Ukraine has managed to take back around 50% of territory that was initially seized by Russia during its invasion.
