On Saturday, 21 November 2020, Unilever announced to bring it’s mouthwash formulation which claims to reduce 99.9 percent of Coronavirus after 30 seconds of rinsing from it. Unilever’s mouthwash formulation contains CPC Technology which reduces 99.9 percent of the virus that causes COVID-19 according to the preliminary lab test results. Although the company has made clear that it is not a cure nor a proven way to prevent the transmission of the virus.
