Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana scheme is set at 8 lakhs. This will now benefit 1 crore households.
Ujjwala Scheme will be extended to cover 1 crore or more beneficiaries in the gas pipeline project for Jammu and Kashmir.
According to this scheme, 100 or more districts in the next three years will receive city gas distribution network. An independent gas transport operator will be set up for facilitation and coordination for booking common carrier capacity.
