Unkown facts about french star Kylian Mbappe

Marked out as a child prodigy since he was six, and making his Monaco debut at 16, Mbappe was already a World Cup winner at 19, joining Brazilian legend Pele as the only other player to win it as a teenager. Currently playing for PSG and dominating the scoresheets. The football superstar Kylian Mbappe had just lived up to the hype.

Here are some unknown facts about the star:

1. He idolizes Cristiano Ronaldo

Kylian Mbappe, like any other football fan, decorated his bedroom walls with posters of his favorite player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Perhaps it was just a fantasy that he, too, would one day be a professional player.

He had the opportunity to meet his idol in person. With these two incredible players, love and respect are reciprocated. Cristiano Ronaldo stated in a Marca promotional video, “Mbappe is the future and the present. He’s a fantastic player, very quick, and he’s the future.”

2. The young player donated all his World Cup earnings

Mbappé reportedly stated that he did not believe he should be paid to represent France, so he donated the approximately 400,000 euros he earned during the tournament to a children’s charity called Premiers de Cordée. He earned around 20,000 euros per game and a bonus of 300,000 euros for winning the tournament.

Premiers de Cordée, the organization to which he donated, promotes sports programs for hospitalized children as well as disability awareness in schools and businesses. Mbappé began working with the organization in 2017 and has played soccer with some of the children who are supported by the organization.

3. Mbappe faster than Usain Bolt?

The simple answer is no.

Mbappe’s determined dash from the halfway line reached 38kph (23.61mph), faster than Bolt’s 37.58kph (23.35mph) when he set his 9.58 second 100m world record in 2009.

But, in that world-record sprint in Berlin, Bolt reached 42.7km/h (27.8mph) and ran over 100 meters from a standing start – sorry Kylian, sorry Cristiano, no footballer alive comes close to prime Bolt.

4. Mbappé comes from an athletic family

Without a doubt, athleticism runs in the family. Fayza Lamar, Mbappé’s mother, was a Division 1 handball player back in the 1990s. Wilfried Bondy, his father, was a footballer who also played for AS Bondy. Jirès Kembo-Ekoko, Mbappé’s adopted brother, is also a professional footballer. Last but not least, Mbappé’s younger brother Ethan is a member of Paris Saint-under-12 Germain’s league.

5. Mbappe obsesses over sneakers

You can’t live in Paris and not be influenced by fashion, and Mbappe is no exception; he loves his sneakers and describes himself as a “kid with a new toy” when he gets a new pair.

In an interview with Hypebeast, he talked about crying to his mother to get the latest sneakers, but they’re expensive, and he often had to beg for them.

Nike even has a section on their website titled “BOUTIQUE DE MBAPPÉ.” It has the star’s footwear selection. For example, a Nike Mercurial Superfly 360 Elite FG costs 370 euros. However, if you are determined to look like Mbappé, there are several Nike stores in Paris to choose from. Two of the most famous are on the Champs-Élysées and at the Forum des Halles.

Mbappe is a sensational player and is being compared to Messi and Ronaldo as well. A move of Mbappe to Real Madrid is often thrown around. Hopefully, we can watch him play with Real Madrid superstars.
