UP, Maharashtra and Gujarat Lead Tata Power Solaroof’s FY26 Rooftop Solar Growth

Tata Power Solaroof has achieved 1 GWp of rooftop solar capacity additions in the first nine months of FY26, driven by strong adoption across key states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Telangana.

Uttar Pradesh recorded the highest number of installations during the period with 30,857 installations aggregating 128.13 MWp. Maharashtra followed with 21,044 installations totaling 126.33 MWp, while Gujarat added 18,907 installations contributing 143.02 MWp. Telangana accounted for 14,622 installations and 62.08 MWp.

Cumulatively, Maharashtra leads with 855.21 MWp capacity, followed by Gujarat (525.81 MWp), Tamil Nadu (318.35 MWp) and Chhattisgarh (285.62 MWp). Overall, Tata Power Solaroof has added over 1.7 lakh customers during FY26 (9M), taking its customer base beyond 3 lakh.

The company continues to deploy rooftop solar solutions through a network of over 650 channel partners and supports India’s clean energy transition in line with national renewable energy targets.
