US to receive additional 100 million doses of vaccination

As requested earlier, Pfizer Inc has agreed to provide additional 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine to US by July, 2021. This adds to the total tally of United States by 200 million doses which will allow the vaccination of 100 million people.

The pharmaceutical company will provide 70 million doses by June 30 and another 100 million by July 31. The United States will pay $1.95 billion for additional 100 million doses which takes the total tally to be around $4 billion.
