Veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli, father of Armaan Kohli, passes away

Rajkumar Kohli, the father of actor Armaan Kohli, has passed away. According to News18, he died on Friday morning. Vijay Grover, a publicist and close friend of Arman, affirmed the news and said that Rajkumar’s last rites will be held on Friday. Rajkumar Kohli was in his earls 90s.

According to the portal, Rajkumar Kohli went to take a shower on Friday morning and did not come out of the bathroom for some time. As per the reports, his son Armaan Kohli broke the door and saw his father on the floor. Rajkumar was then soon transported to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

Rajkumar Kohli was well-known for directing various Bollywood movies, including the 1966 film Dulla Bhatti and the 1970s blockbuster Lootera, which starred Dara Singh.

Films having ensemble casts includes Nagin (1976), Jaani Dushman (1979), Badle Ki Aag, Naukar Biwi Ka and Raaj Tilak (1984). Sunil Dutt, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha and actresses Reena Roy and Anita Raj often appeared in his films.
