According to news agency PTI, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was admitted to the AIIMS hospital in New Delhi early on Sunday after feeling uneasy and having chest pain.
Around two in the morning, the 73-year-old was taken to the hospital and placed in the Critical Care Unit (CCU), where he was treated by Dr. Rajiv Narang, the head of the AIIMS Cardiology Department. According to sources, Dhankhar is in stable condition and is still being watched over by a group of medical professionals.
