Virat Kohli And spouse Anushka Sharma COVID-19 fundraising storms to nearly 11 crores, thanks MPL for their contribution

Virat Kohli and his spouse Anushka Sharma has gathered around INR 11 crores through their fundraising campaign associated with Ketto (the most trusted crowd fundraising organisation)for the COVID-19 relief. King Kohli also showed his gratitude towards MPL, online gaming and betting app which is promoted by the Indian skipper for donating INR 5 crores to their funding.

“Thank you MPL Sports Foundation for your generous contribution of 5 crores in our fight against Covid-19. With your help, we have now increased our target to 11 crores. Anushka & I are deeply grateful for your unconditional support”, Virat wrote on his Twitter. 

The goal of the fundraising was INR 7 crores but with two days still in their pocket, the pair has managed to cross their mark with an impressive rim. Where the MPL app donated 5 crore rupees to the cause, Virat and Anushka themselves added an amount of 2 crores to the fundraiser.

The final amount after the completion of seven days will be proceeded to ACT Grants via Ketto organisation who will work in supplying oxygen, medical necessities, medical manpower, vaccination awareness throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are going through an unprecedented time in the history of our country and our nation needs all of us to unite and save as many people as possible. Anushka and I have been shocked to see the human suffering since last year,” Kohli said.
