Captain of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli becomes the first Indian to reach 100 million followers on Instagram on March 1. He is also the first cricketer in the world to achieve that many followers on Instagram.
In 2017 he had 10 million followers and the number of his followers have grown 10 times since then.
He also has an exceptionally large number of followers on other social media platforms too. He has 40.8 million followers on Twitter and more than 36 million likes on Facebook.
Kohli is now a part of the 100 million club featuring football stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, and Neymar.
