Vladimir Putin calls Narendra Modi and Xi Jinping “responsible” leaders

As the Sino-India crisis worsens by the day, the Russian President, Vladimir Putin stated that he regards that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chinese President Xi Jinping are “responsible” leaders and that he believes that the two countries can come to a solution without the help of external countries intervening in the process.

Russia has made a statement stating that it is not going to take sides in the tension between India and China. Though Russia is publicly disparaging of the four-nation grouping of India, Australia, Japan, and the US, it has come to the consensus that it is not in Moscow’s hand to criticize or judge how any country should play in an initiative and how the relationship between the countries is broken or built.

Vladimir Putin also made a statement to make it clear that there were no “contradictions” in the partnership between Russia and India as well as the connection between Moscow and Beijing.

In addition to that, Putin affirmed that India is the only country Russia is partnering with to work on “elaborating and manufacturing,” superior weaponry systems and technologies and that the cooperation that the two countries share is “multifaceted.” Lastly, Putin also stated that the alliance that Russia and India share and are they are developing is strongly based on trust.
