Is Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein one of the best romantic movies of Bollywood?

Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein popularly known as ‘RHTDM’ is an Indian romantic movie released in 2001. The film stars R. Madhavan, Dia Mirza and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles. The popular movie is written and directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, who is directed a lot of regional and Hindi movies.

In 2001, when the movie was released, it did not received a warm welcome on the box office, however the movie was much appreciated by film critics. Movie got it’s due credit when the movie was telecasted on Television.

The movie turned out to be one of the best Romantic drama movie of Hindi cinema. It changed the career graph for the actors.

The question we should be asking is why one of the best romantic story of Indian cinema still turned out to be a flop. Well, this isn’t the case with only RHTDM–another cult comedy movie, Andaz Apna Apna, was also a flop when it released, but later it got its due on television and is still remembered as one of the top comedy movie in Hindi cinema.
