Inter Miami teammates Lionel Messi and Jordi Alba turned back the clock today, linking to score a spectacular extra-time equalizer in typical Barcelona style, to help their club save a point against the Galaxy.
During most of the match, LA Galaxy dominated play and took the lead in the 75th minute due to a goal from Serbian attacker Dejan Joveljic.
However, things would start to change in the 87th minute when midfielder Mark Delgado made a reckless challenge that resulted in his second yellow card, sending him off the field and reducing the Galaxy down to only 10 men.
This turned out to be perfect for Miami, as Messi and Alba easily walked through the left flank before the Spaniard gave a brilliant pass to Messi, who just got to the end of it and put the ball into the back of the net.
