Wendy Williams Reveals To Have Only $15 To Her Name

Wendy Williams has opened up about her current situation following her return from a wellness facility in New York, revealing some shocking personal struggles. During a rare interview with The Breakfast Club, the former Wendy Williams Show host shared that she currently has only $15 to her name, describing her financial situation as dire. She also mentioned that her money is “in prison,” which appears to refer to ongoing legal and financial complications she’s facing.

During the interview, Williams’ niece, Alex Finnie, called in to offer some insights into the situation, though she mentioned that there were some details about the finances that couldn’t be openly discussed. However, Finnie emphasized that Wendy’s cognitive state seemed intact, sharing, “I think that the thing we can talk about is the fact that my aunt sounds great…we’re talking to her. This does not match an incapacitated person.”

Wendy further described her experience in the wellness facility, where she was essentially confined to a room with a TV and a cell phone. She could only make outgoing calls, but no one was allowed to call her. Additionally, she claimed that her mobility was severely restricted, as the elevators were locked, preventing her from going anywhere. She likened her situation to being trapped, saying, “I am not cognitively impaired, but I feel like I am in prison.”

Williams, who has been dealing with health issues like Graves’ disease (a condition that affects the thyroid), expressed frustration over the situation, stating, “I’m in this place where the people are in their 90s and their 80s and their 70s. There’s something wrong with these people here on this floor.” Despite these challenges, she made it clear that she doesn’t believe her cognitive abilities have been affected, but the confinement and circumstances have taken a toll on her mental well-being.
