When Eminem dropped his album The Death of Slim Shady on July 12, he made waves with some bold disses aimed at famous figures, including Aquaman actress Amber Heard. In the track “Lucifer,” the rapper couldn’t resist poking fun at Heard and her infamous legal battles with Johnny Depp, especially the bizarre moment that made headlines during their defamation trial.
The incident in question involved Heard allegedly defecating on Depp’s bed, and Eminem referenced this in his typically outrageous style. He rapped:
“My sh*t is like taking Deborah Mathers at her word / Yeah, I’m that absurd, we had a spat.”
He then followed up with:
“Then afterwards / We squashed the beef like a hamburger patty, or should I say gigantic trd? / ‘Cause I put that sht to bed like Amber Heard at a Mattress Firm (Sl*t).”
Eminem didn’t stop with Amber. He also took shots at Kanye West, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and Lizzo. For Kanye, he rapped, “Brain is dead, space cadet / Like when Ye forgets to take his meds,” referencing the rapper’s past mental health struggles.
And in his song Antichrist, Eminem went after Diddy, referencing the scandal surrounding footage of him hitting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. As usual, Eminem’s lyrics were packed with sharp, controversial lines that stirred up plenty of attention.
