Grimes appeared in The Detail, a Canadian police procedural that premiered on CTV in 2018. Even though The Detail was only on for a season, it’s amazing that she took on a completely new type of character.
Grimes’ acting career took a significant turn with her performance in The Detail. Grimes’ personal life, however, has taken the most unexpected turns since her appearance on 90210.
The fact that Shenae Grimes now has a new name is an example of a twist in her personal life. Since her wedding in 2013, the former 90210 star’s official name has become Shenae Grimes-Beech.
Grimes has been married to Josh Beech for almost a decade as of this writing. Beech, an English singer and songwriter who fronts a band by the same name, has also worked as a model on and off throughout his life.
Grimes and Beech decided to start a business together not long after they married. As Nylon reported in July 2014, Grimes and Beech started a clothes and jewellery business named Two Halves at the time.
Sadly for Grimes and Beech, Two Halves did not succeed. The couple announced their company’s closing on Two Halves’ Instagram account and everything was on sale for 60% off.
Grimes sparked controversy in 2014 when she tweeted, “Biggest thanks to the supportive and patient love of my life for putting up with the long hours in b*ttf**k Hamilton! Love you my babe x”
In August 2023, the actress got wrapped up in another drama again. However, this time the drama was not of Grimes’ creating, since it was caused by jerks on social media.
