English actor Isabella May Ramsey was born in September 2003. She is best known for her starring role as the young noblewoman Lyanna Mormont in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2016–2019). She has since appeared on television in other roles, including Mildred Hubble in the 2017 CBBC series The Worst Witch, the voice of the title character in the Netflix animated series Hilda (2018–present), and Jane Grey in the 2022 Starz drama Becoming Elizabeth.
She portrayed Ellie in the HBO drama series The Last of Us and appeared in the historical comedy Catherine Named Birdy from 2022.

She began acting as a pastime at the age of four through the Stagecoach Theatre Arts programme in Loughborough, which she attended for seven years. With fellow Game of Thrones veteran Pedro Pascal, Ramsey was chosen in February 2021 for the lead part of Ellie in the HBO adaptation of the 2013 video game The Last of Us. She co-starred with Safia Oakley-Green in the lesbian horror short Requiem in 2021.
