During a recent chat on the New Heights podcast, Kelce and his sister-in-law, Kylie, discussed setting the perfect holiday vibe with classic Christmas movies—especially one that’s a favorite of Swift’s.
Kylie suggested that her husband, Jason Kelce, and his brother Travis take the time to watch and review Love Actually, a beloved romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant. The film is reportedly a favorite of Swift, who has mentioned it in interviews before. However, Travis’s reaction to the suggestion was anything but enthusiastic.
Kylie teased Travis, saying, “Love Actually is the kind of movie you can enjoy with your significant other. I mean, it’s not like your significant other hasn’t already asked you to watch it a bunch of times and you’ve said no every single time. This could be the perfect excuse to finally watch it!” She playfully urged him to reconsider, adding, “I hope you take this into consideration.”
Jason Kelce, however, quickly shot down the idea, quipping, “I think we can both agree we’re not doing Love Actually.” Travis chimed in, backing his brother, and joked, “Yeah, probably not. But I’m open to a really good Christmas movie.”
Travis didn’t hold back in his reply to Kylie either, saying, “Yeah, don’t torture me, Ky. Torture your husband. I’m just an innocent bystander here—don’t come for me!”
Despite the lighthearted banter, Taylor Swift has previously expressed her love for the film. In an older interview with Teen Vogue, the Grammy-winning artist shared that Love Actually holds a special place in her heart. She recalled one of Hugh Grant’s iconic lines from the film: “If you look around, love actually is all around.” Swift even called it her favorite motto.
