WhatsApp has finally launched the Disappearing Messages feature on Thursday, 19th November 2020. The feature will be available to both individual as well as group chats with a time limit of 7 days after which the message will get deleted automatically. The logic behind this idea is to make conversations feel as in-person virtually. The Facebook owned company wanted to start the feature with “7 days” so that the chat seems private and feels lighter. It will also wipe out any videos or images sent during that period.
