After getting UPI permission and sending money through a messaging app, Whatsapp is all set launch another feature i.e., micro pensions and micro insurance by the end of the year 2020. This will be launched in collaboration with various financial institutions. This includes consumer health insurance products with SBI General Insurance and will be done on beta basis.
Earlier, when Whatsapp launched sending payments feature it was designed with privacy principle and security sets which also included entering UPI PIN for each payment gateway.
