As shown in the teaser, there will be plenty of excitement to keep AFC Richmond Greyhounds supporters cheering—and on the edge of their seats—when Ted Lasso returned for its third (and maybe last) season on Wednesday.

Ted (played by co-creator, executive producer, and Emmy-winning star Jason Sudeikis) and his English football team deal with ups and downs on and off the field in the comedy, which debuted on Apple TV+ on March 15. More of the genial coach’s mental condition will be explored in the programme as he copes with being apart from his kid and the fact that Nate (Nick Mohammed), his former assistant coach, is now the head coach of West Ham United, a rival side.

“Ted feeling a separation from his son is something that we’ll continue to look at,” co-creator, star and executive producer Brendan Hunt (who plays Coach Beard) told The Hollywood Reporter. “The more Henry grows up, the more [ex-wife] Michelle gets on with her life; it creates new complications in Ted’s heart.

The third season of Ted Lasso, which has 12 episodes, debuted on Apple TV+ on March 15. The conclusion will be posted on May 31. A new instalment will be released every Wednesday.
