The Sister Wives reality television show has offered a multitude of characters to audiences throughout the years. Some individuals came and went, while others stayed for numerous seasons. A new wife was introduced at the beginning of the episode. This wife had previously been hitched and came to the Brown family with 3 children from that relationship.
One person who has not come into the show is the biological father of Robyn Brown’s oldest children and the husband of her first marriage. Who is this person? Here’s everything you need to know.
David Jessop was Robyn Brown’s previous husband
Robyn Brown wedded David Jessop in Montana when she was only 21 years old. After having three children (Dayton, Aurora, and Brianna), the couple divorced in 2007.
Their divorce became official in 2009 and the following year, in 2010, Robyn met and spiritually married Kody Brown. In 2011, she gave birth to their first child together, Solomon.
Later, in 2014, the two engaged in a legal marriage so that Kody could adopt Robyn’s older children. To do this, Kody had to legally divorce his first wife, Meri and enter into a union with her that was merely spiritual.
Christine and Janelle were both spiritually wedded to Kody. Two years after legally marrying, Robyn and Kody had their youngest child, Ariella.
Although David Jessop is Robyn Brown’s ex-husband and the biological father of her three eldest children, he has more connections to the family than just that.
David Jessop is not only a first cousin of Christine, the mother of Kody’s six children Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel and Truely, but also a third cousin of the family patriarch Kody Brown.
