Every Witcher fan in the globe is now aware that Geralt of Rivia will have a new cast member for The Witcher season 4 due to Henry Cavill leaving the character.
Responses to the news were varied, but many fans were sorry to hear it because Cavill’s portrayal of the main character in Netflix’s fantasy series The Witcher has been one of the show’s major draws.
But now that the release date for The Witcher season 3 has passed, we can say with certainty that a new actor will take on the part of Geralt. So, in The Witcher’s fourth season, who will portray Geralt?
Who will play Geralt in The Witcher season 4?
From The Witcher season 4 onward, Liam Hemsworth will portray Geralt. Gale, who Hemsworth played in The Hunger Games films, is his most well-known role.
Joey Batey, who plays Jaskier in the TV series, was a cast member of The Witcher and spoke about the recasting and his excitement for it in our chat with him. He stated: “I am looking forward to working with Liam. I really am. I’ve been talking to him a little bit since the announcement. And he is just like; he’s throwing himself into the deep end with this with such aplomb.
“I don’t want to just kind of continue what we’ve been doing, because every season, Jaskier and Geralt’s relationship continues and grows and merges in lots of different ways and strengthens. So that friendship is going to be different, even if Henry were playing it.”
