Will Landman Return for Season 2 on Paramount+?

Paramount+’s Landman, created by Taylor Sheridan, has been making a significant impact as we move into late 2024 and early 2025. Set against the intense backdrop of West Texas oil rigs, the show stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, a crisis management executive grappling with both personal and professional challenges.

The series explores everything from deadly oil rig accidents to cartel troubles, all while Tommy faces the storm brought on by his ex-wife, played by Ali Larter. Landman has already captivated viewers, offering a thrilling ride across its 10-episode first season, with the season finale, “The Crumbs of Hope,” airing on January 12, 2025.

Although Paramount+ has yet to officially confirm a second season, many believe one is on the way. The show has received praise from both critics and audiences alike, and given Paramount’s strong support for Taylor Sheridan’s past projects, it’s highly likely that the series will be renewed.

In a May 2024 interview at the Cannes Film Festival, Landman star Demi Moore seemed to hint at the future of the show. When asked about it, she said, “I’ve already completed the first season and I’m excited for us to start the second, which will be at the beginning of next year.” While this wasn’t an official announcement, her comments strongly suggest that work on Season 2 is already underway.

For now, Landman is exclusive to Paramount+, so if you want to catch up on the series or keep up with the next season, you’ll need a subscription to the platform. No word yet on whether it will appear on other streaming services like Netflix or Hulu, but for now, Paramount+ is the place to be for this gripping drama.
