Will Night Agent be back for season 2?

The thriller series, which features Gabriel Basso, Luciane Buchanan, and recent Oscar contender Hong Chau, is based on the same-titled book. The action drama series, which has 10 binge-worthy episodes, follows FBI agent Peter Sutherland as he gets caught up in a nefarious plot.

The TV show then follows the guy as he launches a manhunt to find the traitor and defend the American government. The entire first season is currently available on the streaming provider Netflix, and it’s great. But will Night Agent return for a second season?

Will there be a Night Agent season 2?

As of March 2023, there are no active plans for Night Agent season 2. There will be discussions regarding a Night Agent season 2 if the programme does well and demonstrates that there is an audience appetite for more, as is the case with so many other Netflix series.

There is a tiny snag, though. There isn’t a sequel to Matthew Quirk’s book of the same name, from which The Night Agent is adapted. That said, Quirk has a tonne of other equally exciting tales that might serve as the foundation for Night Agent season 2 if the programme decides to develop its own plots.
