Wipro announced on January 25 that they have appointed Douglas Silva as the country head of their operations in Brazil. Silva has been in the IT industry for more than 20 years.
He will work out of Alphaville, Brazil and will answer to the Latin America Managing Director of Wipro. He has previously held important positions in TCS, Capegemini, SAP and served as Head of Financial Services in Latin America and Enterprise Sales Director in Brazil for Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Wipro has been expanding their business in Latin America for the last five years by building a strong local existence in the region, securing regional companies and recruiting strong and distinctive employees.
