Manchester United were defeated 3-1 by Wrexham in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday at the Snapdragon Stadium in California, USA. The Welsh side beat the English giants thanks to goals from Elliot Lee, Aaron Hayden and Sam Dalby, while United scored through Marc Jurado.
United coach Erik ten Hag picked a completely different starting eleven from the ones that defeated Arsenal a few days ago, as the team was filled with youngsters.

Nathan Bishop, the United goalkeeper, received a yellow card for a challenge on Wrexham player Paul Mullin, who had to be substituted as a result of the foul.
Wrexham, on the other hand, went ahead in the 29th minute due to Lee’s goal, giving the Welsh side the lead in the match.
After a long throw-in was sent into the far post by a young United defender, Hayden rose highest to head the ball into the back of the net less than 7 minutes after the first goal.
United cut the lead in half when 19-year-old Jurado scored in the 6th minute of first-period stoppage time after Alvaro Fernandez set him up.
Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson made ten changes as he brought in a new squad in the second half.
United teenager Daniel Gore was sent off in the 47th minute of the game, leaving the English team with 10 men early in the second half.
In the 69th minute, Dalby restored Wrexham’s two-goal lead, making the score 3-1. Parkinson’s team performed well to hold on to the lead to secure a win.
