Taking to Instagram, the 42-year-old artist shared a video of himself getting inked, where he described Rahman as a “living legend” and expressed deep gratitude for his influence on Indian music.
In the video, Honey Singh is seen singing Rahman’s iconic track Tu Hi Re while getting the tattoo done on his right shoulder blade. He shared that this gesture was a way of showing his love and respect for the legendary composer. He said Rahman was the reason he became a musician and thanked him for the inspiration he continues to provide.
In the caption, Honey Singh wrote that this was his third tattoo of the night and dedicated it to Rahman. He described it as a mark of admiration for someone who shaped his musical journey. The rapper has often spoken about his dream to collaborate with Rahman and hopes to work on a Grammy-worthy track with him someday.
