Youth sees ₹11 crore boost in 2nd weekend, total reaches ₹40 crore

Youth, featuring Ken Karunaas in the lead, had another successful day at the box office yesterday. The Tamil film grossed Rs. 4.50 crore on its second Sunday, up 10% from Saturday. This increased the film’s total earnings for the second weekend to Rs. 11 crore. It’s around a 45 percent reduction from the four-day launch weekend.

Youth’s total earnings at the Indian box office as of the end of its second weekend had reached Rs. 39.75 crore. The coming-of-age comedic drama is projected to perform well on weekdays as well, earning over Rs. 45 crore in its second week.

Youth is performing well in its home state, where it earned approximately Rs. 34.25 crore. It accounts for around 85% of the total domestic cume. So far, the film has earned over Rs. 3 crore from Karnataka, with Telugu states contributing roughly Rs. 1.50 crore.

The rest of the Indian markets contributed approximately Rs 1 crore. Ken Karunaas, of Dhanush’s Asuran fame, wrote and directed the film, which he also stars in.
