A new poster for Yash Raj Films’ eagerly awaited spy-thriller War 2, which stars Kiara Advani, Jr. NTR, and Hrithik Roshan, has been officially launched. Hrithik brandishing a katana, Jr.
NTR looking ferocious with a knuckle punch, and Kiara confidently pointing with a rifle in sleek, all-black gear are the three characters on the poster, which was released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil. Many admirers, nevertheless, are not delighted with the new poster.
YRF shared on their social media handle, the poster featuring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR and Kiara Advani. The caption reads, “The biggest showdown of the year loading… #30DaysToWar2 #War2 only in theatres from 14th August. Releasing in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.”
Some followers expressed delight over the 30DaysToWar2 countdown and applauded the looks’ “fierce” intensity. Others, however, expressed dissatisfaction with the posters’ quality in their comments. One commenter bemoaned their awful appearance, while another referred to them as “effortless fan-edit.”
One commented, “Kitne paise bachaye hai through these posters (how much money was saved through these posters)”. “They are killing the hype of the film by releasing cheap quality posters,” another said.
Here’s another quoted, “Poster poor of the year.” “This War 2 poster looks like a loud, over-the-top PicsArt mess, way too trying hard for a mature vibe.”
This year, in May, the teaser for War 2 was released, providing a thrilling preview of the much awaited follow-up. In the 2019 movie War, Hrithik reprises his role as Agent Kabir. Jr. NTR, who is making his Bollywood debut, plays the antagonist, an Indian agent named Vikram, which sets up a heated confrontation. With its thrilling sword fights, fast-paced automobile chases, and dramatic hand-to-hand fighting scenes, the teaser is full of action-packed scenes.
Kiara, the franchise’s leading lady, drew attention with her glitzy bikini look and would be sharing romantic on-screen time with Hrithik. The movie, which is a part of YRF’s growing spy universe, will be available in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi on August 14.
