Zach Bryan is fed up with the backlash following his split from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia—and he’s especially not tolerating hate directed at his friends.
On January 9, the 28-year-old country star took to Instagram Stories to slam trolls for attacking his inner circle.
“All you f—ing couch warriors attacking and belittling my friends on the internet because you’re assuming I have a girlfriend are weird as hell and should be studied for science,” he wrote.
Bryan, who has been under scrutiny since his October 2024 breakup with LaPaglia, expressed frustration over how his personal life has become a public spectacle. He also hinted at his growing disillusionment with fame, saying, “Everyone wonders why I quit touring and don’t want to be attached to music anymore; meanwhile, you’re calling my friends ugly and harassing them?”
The Something in the Orange singer made it clear he’s not in a relationship. “Apparently, I’ve had four different girlfriends in like two weeks; meanwhile, my friends and I are just laughing and hanging out like we always have,” he wrote.
He ended his posts with a blunt message to his critics: “Go give your attention and time to the literal city burning down and stop being so sad, fickle, and childish to screens… You do not know me. You never will know me. Stop acting like you do.”
Bryan’s comments come amid LaPaglia’s accusations that he was unfaithful and emotionally abusive during their relationship. While he has not directly addressed those claims, his latest posts suggest he’s ready to distance himself further from the spotlight.
