SS Rajamouli has marked his spot in both Bollywood and South Industry with his remarkable direction. His next directorial RRR has been in the process for quite a time. Due to the pandemic, the release got delayed but the Movie is now ready to hit the OTT platform.
The producers have announced this Wednesday, that post the theatrical release of RRR, the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions of the films will be made available on ZEE5. And Netflix will stream the Hindi, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish versions of RRR.
As the authority of the Hindi version of RRR is with Zee Networks, the star India holds the television rights of the film’s Telugu Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions.
As per the sources, the Zee groups have paid Rs. 300 crores plus to acquire the digital and satellite rights of RRR, but the producers have not claimed the financial status officially.
RRR is currently at its post-production stage. The shooting was resumed and completed earlier this year after the government released all the restrictions post the first wave of the pandemic. The movie is ready to release on October 13, if the pandemic will be under control.
RRR is a fictional story based on the struggles of Telugu tribal leaders Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan will be seen portraying the role of Sitarama, Jr NTR essays Komaram in RRR. Rajamouli has also involved some Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgan to play a vital role in the movie.
