On February 15, Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two had its world premiere in London. Zendaya stole the show with her transparent robot costume from Mugler’s archives. The actress wore robotic armour made of see-through panels and metal, and it looked amazing.

Zendaya’s look is a piece of fashion history from the Mugler archives. The robotic suit was created by Thierry Mugler in 1995 and provides a glimpse of the wearer’s derriere, thighs, back and chest. Her stylist, Law Roach, posted on Instagram. Sharing the pics he wrote, “HER…..US…..”
The second instalment of the sci-fi epic, helmed by Denis Villeneuve, returns audiences to Arrakis for his follow-up to 2021’s ‘Dune’, with Chalamet’s lead character Paul Atreides joining together with Zendaya’s Chani and the Arrakis locals, known as the Fremen, to take vengeance on those who murdered his father.
The franchise, set in a future when wealthy families dominate planetary fiefs, is based on author Frank Herbert’s widely renowned 1965 novel of the same name. It addresses politics, religion, the fight for valuable resources and the environment.
After its October 2021 release, Dune: Part One received 10 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture, and got awards for production design, sound, editing, cinematography and visual effects. The movie grossed over $400 million globally.
