Zendaya to return in Dune 3? Here’s what she said

Zendaya talks about her future in the Dune franchise. The actress starred opposite Timothee Chalamet in the fantasy series’ first film in 2021. She is returning for Dune: Part Two, which will be released later this year.

Before the release of Dune: Part Two, Zendaya said in a new interview with Fandango that returning for a  potential Dune Messiah movie would be an easy decision. The Euphoria actress confidently stated that she will portray Chani in a future instalment of the franchise.

Would we be down? “Of course,” Zendaya responded instantly when questioned about her part in the upcoming Dune movie. So, what is keeping her back? According to Variety, the actress is only waiting for “a call”. When Denis Villeneuve thinks it’s time to make a third Dune film, she’s all in, but the sequel has yet to be announced.

The actress said, “Any time Denis calls it’s a yes from me. I’m excited to see what happens. I started ‘Messiah’ and I was like, ‘Woah, I’m only shooting the first movie. Let me just go back to the first one.’ It’s so much to take in, but there’s no better hands with better care and love for it than Denis.”

When is Dune 2 Releasing?

On March 1, Dune: Part Two, featuring Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson and Austin Butler, is set to hit theatres.
